4yr old Non-Reg Gelding English type 15hh horse. White blaze and socks with a few white patches on his belly. Intermediate rider would go best with his age. His talent is jumping but has shown in lots of other disciplines including ranch, showmanship, in hand trail, tried some dressage, and lopes around for barrels and flags. I don’t have enough intermediate riders in my program to keep him busy! He is so friendly and loves to get out! You could get him out twice a day and he still greets you at the gate helping you put his halter on, it doesn’t get friendlier than him. He is not dominant in the pasture at all and enjoys just about any horse we throw in with him. He has a wonderful smooth Trot and beautiful smooth canter— he knows his leads, will correctly bend when asked, and has one heck of a stop. He knows how to long line, and round pens like a dream.
He was broke out as a 3 yr old so has 2 yrs under his belt now of hauling and showing a good handful of times each year. Loads, ties, been on a picket line overnight, stalls, bridles super well. He is on a grain schedule to replenish calories when he’s worked hard especially over the summer. Other than that grass and hay the rest of the year. He gets a nice winter coat and stays outside and gets a blanket here and there on the bad days. Feet, teeth, vaccines and coggins all up to date.
