Fiddy is a 16.2hh 2014 OTTB with an impressive 30 starts, yet extremely underwhelming $29k worth of winnings. Fiddy ended his racing career in 2021 after 4 years, and began retraining shortly after with intentions of participating in the RRP. Due to unrelated events, his rider could not make it, however, he remained in a program consistently.
In the last year, he has fallen onto the back burner, being ridden a couple times a week by novice h/j riders w/t, and confident juniors and adult amateur on the flat.
He is now being restarted into work with a heavy focus on dressage.
Like most thoroughbreds, Fiddy is incredibly receptive to training, and has zero spook (seriously, we live at a cowboy mounted shooting facility). He LOVES being hosed off and is easy to load. He is currently only being offered for flat only due to an old (fully healed) injury as well as a fully fused left hock- happy to disclose and share any records/radiographs.
Fiddy is available for a free full care lease or sale (3k). We’d love to keep him on property but he is also being offered for an off farm lease.
