Super safe... does not need lunging prior to riding. 4-1/2 yr old 16.3h jet black Trakehner gelding. Last year, Dartagnan was approved as a stallion with both the ATA and Oldenburg registries. He is very friendly by nature, and was not thriving in the isolated life of a stallion, so I have since gelded him. He is thriving in his new training environment. Dart is very intelligent and learns very quickly. He has a solid 90 days under saddle at wtc and has had some basic jumping practice. He is ready now to thrive under a loving Hunter/Equitation rider who wants to win in the show ring. Dart is safe enough for a beginner because anyone can safely ride him. No bad habits and no spook. Loves his baths! Loves all attention from humans. He is very social and would thrive in a pasture of other friendly horses. Current trainer halters him in the field, hops on him bareback, and rides him to the barn to be saddled/bridled! Has been taken to a schooling show and behaved like a gentleman and passed his first dressage test. He is absolutely stunning!
