Son of Losson Ranch Seneca, 2018 two-time National Grand Champion 4-Year-Old Gypsy Stallion, (shown in both Western and English Dressage), MAGNUM OPUS, “Boone”has the rare combination of size, presence, sweetness and sensitivity that’s almost impossible to find in a draft cross. “Boone” is a breathtaking 16.2h Gypsy Vanner × Shire Cross, a real head turner — but it’s his willing demeanor, intelligence and Teddy bear personality that make him truly special. He is incredibly sweet, gentle and attentive, yet remarkably responsive and light to ride despite his impressive mass and substance. Boone is soft-eyed, kind-natured, curious and perceptive. He processes new information quickly and is full of try. His easy manner, willingness and sensitivity make him a joy to work with and to train. He’s trusting and wants to please, never disrespectful or pushy. The kind of horse that makes progress every day and loves his work. Boone has big, supple, floaty gaits; he moves with ease and power, yet he’s remarkably sensitive and responsive. His size is deceiving in that he is naturally very forward and sensitive to the riders aides, yet extremely quiet and sensible. Boone’s caring, cooperative nature makes him a pleasure to be around. He loads and travels easily to new places, with or without company. He stands quietly for grooming & saddling, bathing, the vet & farrier and will stand tied quietly for hours. This Gypsy/Shire cross is famously versatile, and his movement, build, and temperament make him suitable for a wide range of disciplines including: • Classical Dressage or Western Dressage • Trail riding, Ranch and Pleasure riding • Working equitation • Driving, Carriage • Movies, Parades, Vaulting Boone has all the try and potential you could want in a young horse, making him a wonderful partner for a rider looking to bring along a talented and willing athlete. He combines natural ability with an incredibly kind, thoughtful nature plus tons of Swagger. This horse turns heads everywhere—not just for his beauty and unique looks, but for his gentle demeanor, intelligence, and genuine connection with people. Currently in professional training for performance, trail and dressage.
