Bricks is a super good looking gelding, stacked up pretty darned perfect. He has only had one owner and was a 4H horse for a couple of years before his teernage owner lost interest. For the past few years he has been just hanging out as a pasture ornament. We have had him here for about 2 months now and he is back in shape for a new owner.
Bricks is the definition of kindness, calm, and class all wrapped into one package. This handsome gelding is as sweet they come and truly loves his people. He lives for brushing, attention, and of course… snacks. His loving, soft-hearted personality makes him a barn favorite everywhere he goes.
He is FANCY broke and feels like a dream under saddle. He easily picks up both leads, has a great stop straight off your seat, and offers a smooth, correct spin. His gaits are incredibly soft, floaty, and comfortable, making every ride enjoyable. He has the skill and ability to excel in ranch classes or just continue being someone’s perfectly broke partner.
Bricks is a true gentleman on the trails — steady, sure-footed, and confident. He’s been exposed to and ridden through:
• Traffic, bikes, quads & dogs
• Wildlife & water
• Logs, mud, rocks & uneven terrain
• All weather conditions: sun, rain & wind — no change in attitude!
He is naturally more “woah than go” and enjoys a peaceful, steady pace. Does not care if he is in the front of the pack or at the back.
Bricks fits well in any living situation — pasture, stall, or paddock — he settles, stays content, and never complains. He is exceptional to handle, standing like a saint for grooming, saddling, and the farrier. In fact, our farrier said:
“Wow, this is the best horse I’ve shod in a long time.”
He also loads and hauls quietly with zero fuss.
