Liberty Secret Stone (Liberty) is a beautiful 16hh 2011 JockyClub registered TB mare.
Sire is Grindstone (Kentucky Derby Winner) by Unbridled out of Buzz My Bell. His pedigree also has Mr. Prospecter, and Raise A Native.
Dam is Secret Mystery - by Mystery Storm out of Some Royal Lady (a Secretariat daughter). Other notable names in her pedigree are Storm Bird, Affirmed, and Northern Dancer.
Liberty never raced. She was started undersaddle as a 3 year old but sustained an injury to her withers while out in pasture, and hasn't been ridden since. I believe she can potentially be restarted and make a great riding partner. However I am selling her as broodmare sound only.
She's had one filly and was a wonderful momma. With her conformation, movement, temperament, and pedigree she would be an ideal choice for someones breeding program.
She's always been sound and healthy. Her right eye is a little cloudy. It appeared a couple years ago and has not changed since it appeared. I believe it's purely cosmetic and doesn't cause her any vision problems.
In regards to the EHV-1 outbreak, Liberty is located on a closed farm with zero contact with outside horses and no new horses coming in.
