Meet Pita... the cutest, most loveable, family friendly saddle mule that everyone wants! She has the disposition you will fall in love with instantly and the experience to take you up and down the trail safely. On the trail, she is as sure footed and steady as they come. She will thoughtfully step through water, rough terrain, and brush. She will move where you point her, confidently crossing bridges, passing traffic and equipment, and maneuvering between cyclists, pedestrians, and barking dogs. Pita has been to hunting camp as well, leading pack strings and taking out guests. She is the most dependable, uncomplicated ride. She has been around gunfire and meat, and they do not bother her. We've also used Pita on the ranch, gathering cattle and roping a few. She handles the pressure involved with cattle work without getting worked up and hot. This girl steps out... she will not be outwalked by even the largest horses... and she is smooth and balanced the entire way. She will ride in a group, lead a pack string, or ride out alone without fuss. Pita stays between the reins and responds to leg cues. Her ground manners are fantastic...she is excellent with her feet, stands for the vet, loads and backs out of the trailer (or stockracks), and stands patiently for saddling. She travels well, and adjusts to new environments. She gets along with her pasture mates... other mules, horses and minis. Pita is not a very tall mule but she is built to handle a load. She has good hard feet that rarely neeed shod. She has been healthy and has no history of colic, founder, or lameness. Pita comes with current coggins, vaccinations, and deworming.
