SMART N STYLISH CD aka MICKY
Mick is a gorgeous 2020 Dappled Golden Palomino APHA 13.3 hh gelding.
He is a personality plus plus plus gelding that loves your attention ALL of the time. He is a “meet and greet” guy and is truly a sweetheart. With his looks, personality, and ranch/arena training- Mick is the “Whole Package”. Whether you are looking for a pony for the kids to ride out on the ranch, gymkhana, JR Rodeo, 4H, English/Pony Club, or are looking for an all around trail/camping/ranch partner for a small adult- Mick is an ideal partner.
He has excellent ground manners, is easy to catch, drops his head down for the kids to halter, stands quiet for grooming, picks up all 4’s (for kids too), stands for tacking up, and mounting/dismounting. He has many hours of sensory training, has been raised and used on the ranch, and has covered lots of miles outside, been roped off of in the branding pen, load trucks, sort, and all the duties that go along with ranch life. Micky rides great in the arena and has a smooth way of moving, picks up leads, has smooth transitions, a great stop, moves off of leg, and has an awesome trot! He neck reins or direct reins, rides English & Western & Bareback. He is considered more of a “push style” guy and on the slower side, unless you know how to ask him for more. He has been primarily ridden by adults and kids of trainer- so he doesn’t have bad habits and is trained like a cow horse. He has been on the barrels and poles, tracked the roping machine, and has been over jumps. With his training foundation and work ethic, he can excel in any direction.
Mick enjoys work in and out of the arena, seeks attention, is good at new places, and is a true adventurist. He carries a flag, goes through and over trail trial obstacles, and overall, is not a spooky horse.
He is sure-footed and careful on tough terrain. He rides out alone or in a group, has been horse camping, riding in the river, and does great in town amongst traffic, loud noises, dogs, sidewalk, etc. He has been in parades and gone to several clinics and done fantastic.
Micky is a blast and is looking for his family or person who wants to love on him and let him love you back!
He is UTD on shots, worming, feet, teeth (2025) & is healthy and sound. He does well in a pasture or barn living situation and is an easy keeper.
