Beautiful, Big(17h), and flashy Spotted Saddle horse. We purchased Marcus in 2015 and have since ridden him over 1000+ miles through all sorts of terrain from flat land to mountain tops. He's got a real sweet 4-beat hair and rocking chair canter. He has had plenty of exposure to all sorts of wildlife and animals; deer, turkey, etc...to dogs, cats, goats, cattle, and other horses. And plenty of exposure to road traffic, farm equipment and even F-18 fighter jets flying overhead. He'll ride out solo with confidence and does well riding in groups either leading or following. Crosses creeks and over bridges. No buck, bolt or kick! His confirmation is big-boned with a strong short back capable of handling a larger rider. I'd say an advanced beginner could ride him with ease. Excellent ground manners and stall behavior. Doesn't pee in his stall!!! He also does well on 24 hr turnout if need be. Ties, loads, bathes, clips. Absolutely no vices or lameness. A true gentleman with the farrier and rock hard hooves. Farrier says they are the hardest hooves he's seen. We typically only have him in front shoes even here in the mountains. Marcus will also ride out in a bit less bridle. He's a veteran trail master and would make someone a great first horse or for 4H. Don't let his age fool you as he's a strong, stout horse with plenty of miles left in him and is in great health. For the taller riders like myself, you won't look like a giant riding a burrow. Plenty of additional photos and videos upon request. UTD shots, wormings, negative coggins and recent float this past spring.
