17 yr old AQHA reg gelding. Absolutely doesn’t act his age nor is he a hard keeper. Came from SD where they used him to gather & sort in the spring and fall. He is cowy & rides like a broke one should. Old school cow bred- Catalena Boy, Cat King Cole,Tia Del Cielo , etc. Rides one handed , will w/t/c circles. You can tell he’s been someone’s pet - he is always in your back pocket and wouldn’t hurt a fly lol. He came to us with absolutely no inside hoof wall so he does have pads on, he has been sound and his feet are growing back. I do not think he will need them on once his inside hoof wall grows back BUT he does have them on now. Big shapy gelding with a lot of years left.
