Booger is a grey/fleabitten, 18 year old registered quarter horse. He has a heart of gold and he’s impossible not to love. This is a very hard decision for us, as he is truly one of those horses that becomes part of the family, but due to financial reasons we are looking for the right home for him.

Booger was purchased out of The Bull and Gelding sale in Red Bluff. He is cow-bred, so he is naturally alert, aware, and always paying attention. He’s good and confident on the trail. His cow sense keeps him thinking, and he will test your limits if allowed, so best suited for someone who appreciates a horse with a little try and opinion.

That said, he has a wonderful personality. He’s like a big puppy dog, loves attention, and genuinely enjoys being around people. He’s the kind of horse that meets you at the gate and makes every day more enjoyable just by being himself.

He is ideal for someone who enjoys a smart cowbred horse with personality, looking for a partner, not a push button ride. We love this horse and want to see him go to a good home where he’ll be appreciated and cared for as much as he deserves. He trailers, ties, and stands for the farrier and vet.
