Onyx is an absolute gem to work with and be around. I can't say enough good things about this mare. She can sit for months on end and is the same horse every time you work with her. She has a very laid back personality and really takes care of her person. She is a lovely mare to drive as well and has been shown in harness and under saddle. She has been taken on overnight camping trips, tied out overnight and handles new environments great! She is happily forward but also willing to just walk along calmly. Not much bothers her, not spooky or reactive. Stands well to be groomed, for the farrier and for the vet to work on. She is UTD on her vaccines and has no known health issues. She has good feet and is currently barefoot. She is incredibly versatile and could really be an ideal fit for a variety of disciplines. I do feel a beginner could ride her fine as long as they are not intimidated by her size. She is not pushy on the ground and is easy to lead and handle. She is great in a stall and does well for turnout. Gets along well with other horses. Her current owner is sadly selling her due to personal health reasons and is unable to keep her. This is a quality mare that anyone would be lucky to have in their barm. Looking for a loving forever home for her as this was her current owner's hope to keep her forever.
