Super cute six year old, 14.2 hand APHA Black/Tovero gelding. Splash is an exceptionally gentle and quiet minded gelding. He has a wonderful disposition and is an absolute pleasure to ride and be around. In the arena Splash had been used for advanced beginner English and Western riding lessons. He is very forgiving and aims to please. Will neck rein or direct rein. He has a cute comfortable jog and a nice easy to sit lope. Stops and backs well and will side pass with ease to open and close the gates. Splash is very solid and settled to ride out. When cruising around the neighborhood he is relaxed and at ease with fast passing vehicles, bicycles, farm animals, and the neighborhood dogs that frequently ambush us as we ride by. He is also a ROCKSTAR to ride out on the trails. Splash will peacefully ride in any position of a group as well as out alone. Crosses the creeks the river, deadfall, trail bridges and the trail obstacles. He picks his way through the rocky river bottom very well and is equally surefooted when riding up and down steep mountainous terrain. This horse has such a kind and sweet personality. He just wants to please you and get along. There is not a mean bone in his body and he has great ground manners. Stands quietly to be groomed, tacked and mounted. Stands quietly for bathing and for the farrier. Loads and halls great as well. Splash really wants to be someone’s BFF. Stays gentle with time off.
