Vincent LHF (Vinny) is a very sweet and personable youngster. He has been handled a lot and is very willing to learn. He halters, had his feet trimmed (the farrier said that he was the most well-behaved baby ever!) and is learning to lead. He was weaned mid-November and is free to go to a new home. He is all black with a hint of white on the heel of his back foot and has big beautiful soft eyes. His sire is KWPN stallion Cum Laude (Apache x Weltmeyer) from Iron Springs Farm. Cum Laude has it all: exceptional movement, great character and striking beauty. His offspring have been receiving 8’s and 9’s on gaits at shows and inspections. Cum Laude offspring JUST won the Get of Sire class at Dressage at Devon this September!!! Cum Laude was successful in the show ring as a young horse, finishing fifth in the Pavo Cup as a six-year-old. He continued up the levels, winning several national competitions at the ZZ-Zwaar and Prix St. Georges levels, including freestyles with scores to 78%. He made his CDI small tour debut in 2018 at the World Championships for Young Horses, where he won the CDI1* Prix St. Georges class with a 71.618%. In 2019, Cum Laude advanced to the CDI3* level. Cum laude is 17.2 hands and very expressive in how he presents himself. He is a favorite in the barn and passes his kind personality to his offspring. Cum Laude’s sire, Apache, was one of the best examples of modern KWPN breeding, known for his super movement.Vinny’s mother, Davinia, is a Hanoverian mare out of Devon Heir and Uphill. Devon Heir is a gorgeous, elite, AHS registered, Hanoverian stallion with impeccable bloodlines! High scoring Hanoverian at his 100-day Test in 2004. In 2005, Devon Heir was USDF/Cosequin Series West Coast Champion Mature Stallion, and he tied for 2nd place Nationally as USDF/Cosequin HOY. In 2006 he earned the USDF Breeders Championship Grand Champion Stallion Nationwide. In 2009, Devon Heir won nearly every under-saddle class he entered with scores in the 70’s and was Grand Champion Fourth level horse at Pebble Beach. Devon Heir’s sire, De Niro, is a stallion of exceptional type and performance. He is a combination of the best bloodlines of Oldenburg and Trakehner. He has made a name for himself across the world as a leading dressage sire. In 2018 he became known as the World's Best Dressage Stallion by ranking #1 on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking for the fifth time. Several other stallions in Davinia’s pedigree were also highly successful and well-known dressage sires including Donnerhall, Rubenstein, Olympic Ferro and Jazz. Vinny’s pedigree is very impressive from both his sire and dam’s bloodlines. The potential is there for him to develop into a talented and special partner for some lucky person. When purchasing a weanling, you have the exciting opportunity to grow together and form a special bond that becomes your heart horse. 908-303-0423 texting is preferred
