Phoebe is an 8 yr old chestnut mare that I have owned her whole life. She has a wonderful disposition and is willing. She has been my main mount since she was trained at 3. I have mostly trail ridden her and we ride a lot on the roads and through fields. Pheobe is sure footed and calm. Traffic safe and will cross water, logs or whatever the trail throws at her. Last winter we sorted cattle on her just to keep her exercised as we don't have anywhere indoors to ride in the winter. The last few years she has went along to countless barrel races. My daughter races her horse and Phoebe was his comfort. She walked with to the gate. She doesn't mind crowds, people and other horses. Phoebe had a foal in April and this was her first. She was an excellent mother and produced a beautiful filly that I kept. All genetic testing has been done. I have paperwork. All were negative. If you have basic horse sense you can ride Phoebe. She will lead or follow, go out alone or in a group. She does love to run. She will get excited if you ask her to run. She is a well built girl and loveable mare. I never thought I would let this mare go but life changes.
