Pistol came to us without basic care. She is now UTD and current on vaccinations, deworming, dentistry, and farrier work. Now training six days a week, she is broke to ride but has had zero work on basic steering or leg yields. Understands voice commands at all gaits. Is working on long lines and under saddle. Needs a firm hand on the ground at times as she will test a handler, since being with us her ground manners have improved and she is a breeze to handle. Prefers men to women, hasn't had alot of kindness until we got her, she is hot and would make a fantastic gaming, kids jumper, or kids all around horse ONCE she is trained. Good for trailer, the vet, working and vaccinations. She is not great for the farrier, really no one has worked with her, she has improved 1000%, we work with her daily, but still needs someone who will teach her that this is regular necessity in horse life. Beautiful light footed mover, very catty and quick on turns, stops and maneuvers. Not spooky, does not buck, rear, bite or kick. Someone did start her correctly at one point in her life, papers are " lost" we we were told she is cutting horse bred. Intermediate and above riders only prefer with an established trainer. Not in a hurry to sell her and price will increase with training.
