Becky was started by Freeman Yoder, and trained to drive for 6 months as a 2yo. I have had her for 6 years, and have done lots of trail riding with her. She is a wonderful mare, she stands for the farrier, loads easily, gets along with all others in the pasture. She could be taken into either discipline, but would probably need to start again if you wanted to drive her, as it's been a while since she learned that. She is easy going on the trail, my Husband and Son have both ridden her on trails. She can be a bit spicy if she sees her friends while riding in the neighborhood... therefore I'd say she is an intermediate rider horse out on the trail, but if riding near other pastured horses, is more of an experienced rider horse, as she can get excited, and want to visit her friends. Nothing unmanageable for an experienced rider. She did wonderful at the obstacle course challenge, and loves to make her rider happy. The perfect home for Becky would be somewhere with cooler weather, and with other draft horses. She loves big horses, and has been sad since her Belgian friend Dave left. This is the only reason I am re-homing her. I would like to find her the perfect home for her to be happy. I will be very picky about where she goes.
