Hershey is a quiet grade Quarter Pony gelding. He just turned 4 and is standing at 13 hands. Hershey has the right size, brain, and attitude for a future kids or family pony but would also be a great prospect for a lesson program.
Hershey has a good foundation with excellent ground manners and lots of desensitization. He is easy to handle and the first one to greet you at the gate every morning. He stands quietly for the farrier and vet and loads without a problem. He is lightly started and presented himself very calm and levelheaded.
Hershey has more whoa than go, with a willing, easy-going nature. While he is not a finished kid pony yet, he is a very nice prospect for someone looking for a pony to grow with.
He is an easy keeper who does well stalled or in a pasture with shelter. He does not behave dominant towards other horses and can be kept with mares, other geldings or stallions. Hershey is up to date on vaccines and deworming. He is sound and barefoot with good feet and bones.
