Nova is a sweet, willing 3-year-old grade Quarter Horse mare with striking cremello coloring and blue eyes. She is green broke with approximately 30 rides, sound, and not suitable for beginners due to her age and stage of training.
She walks, trots, and canters, has a nice, natural lope, turns off the leg well, and stops willingly when asked. Nova is learning correctly and shows a great mindset for continued development.
On the ground, she is easy and well-mannered. She loads and trailers well, is good for the vet and farrier, and is currently barefoot. She ties without pulling back, lunges quietly, changes directions off a point, and lines up nicely at the mounting block. She is clicker trained, making her fun, engaged, and enjoyable to work with.
Nova will jump and confidently navigate obstacles, showing curiosity and bravery. She has a kind, affectionate personality and truly enjoys attention and bonding with her person.
Cons / Notes (full transparency):
• Can be mildly herd bound at times—may call out briefly but settles quickly and is not dangerous
• Due to her pink skin and blue eyes, she requires sunscreen and a UV mask in sunny conditions
I am not in a rush to sell and am focused on finding Nova a knowledgeable, appropriate home where she can continue to progress correctly.
