Tommy is a handsome, well built, nice moving gelding. Standing 15.1hh with a solid build and bone, this guy is built to do anything. He was started professionally as a 3y/o and has had the same owner since he was a 2y/o. The real question with this guy is what hasn’t he done? He has tons of outside miles, has been used in lightly for jumping and been used for eventing lightly had well. He is brave to the jumps, balanced, and has a great stride. He has been ridden western, around cattle, and ridden through rough terrain. Despite his age, this guy is still incredibly trainable, and is easy to teach new things. He is soft, neck reins, and can move all his body parts, has a great stable w/t/l and even has a good walk to lope transition. He is good for the farrier, to trailer, leads, ties, stands to be saddled. He would be great for a confident intermediate rider. While he has packed lots of beginners around, he is not a dead head. He is soft and has a lot of feel, which is great but not always suitable for a beginner. Tommy is low in the pecking order, he stays out of trouble and doesn’t cause problems.
