Xavier is available to the perfect situation as our situation has changed and he is not being ridden at all. He certainly doesn't have to leave, but he could be someone's horse of a lifetime and perfect partner, and he would love more one-on-one time than he's currently getting in our mixed herd. He is the perfect easy-going guy to keep at home and pull out of the pasture, load up and go ride when you get the time. No lunging, no prep. Same horse, always. Adores people. He would probably rather live in the house. While he is always the first to greet any human, at any time, he has shown a particular affinity for special needs children. He is gentle, kind, and extremely quiet on the ground. All the barn kittens cuddle with him constantly - he is just a giant Clifford the Big Red Dog. He would be the perfect addition to a family home but he could likely advance in his training for someone who wanted to try dressage or go over some crossrails, though he has not jumped previously. I am his second owner and got him directly from his breeder as a 5yr old retiring from a pathetic and short-lived "career" on the track. There's a reason he hasn't been passed around as much as most 10yr old horses- he's an extremely nice horse to have around, zero vices, causes no trouble. Always loads, unloads, and behaves well in new places. Children have ridden this horse in 55mph winds in a huge open preserve. Barefoot, no maintenance. Xavier will only go to the best home, or he can just stay, but he is being wasted here.
