I Spotted a Star (AKA Moe) “I Spotted a Star,” lovingly known as Moe, is a super sweet, laid-back gelding who truly lives up to his name. Standing 15.3 hands and coming 5 years old, Moe has a wonderful temperament and loves attention. He’s the type of horse that enjoys being around people and is always happy to go to work. Moe is a two-time World Champion in Western 2-Gait and has experience both in the show ring and on the trail. He has been successfully shown by adults and young teens and consistently proves himself to be a reliable and enjoyable partner. Moe is just as comfortable working in the arena as he is heading out to explore the trails. For the past year, my teenager has been Moe’s primary rider, and together they’ve enjoyed many rides in the arena as well as time out on the trails. The only reason he is being offered for sale is because my son is heading into high school and his riding goals are changing. Otherwise, Moe would absolutely be staying with us. Moe is also a very easy keeper and simple to have in the barn. He does well stalled or turned out in the pasture with other horses and settles nicely into a routine. He is well-mannered and easy to handle. Moe: Bathes Clips Ties & cross ties Loads and hauls quietly Is great for the farrier (currently shod for trail riding) Crosses water and bridges with confidence Most importantly, Moe has a kind, willing personality and a great mind, making him a wonderful partner for someone looking for a dependable show and trail horse. A loving, perfect home is an absolute must for this special boy.
