SCF Moonlight Gold, affectionately called Moonlight, is a 12-year-old registered Tennessee Walking Horse gelding with a kind, “in-your-pocket” personality. He is easy to catch and very easy to get along with. Moonlight has a calm, willing nature and is the type of horse that most anyone can ride and enjoy. He neck reins one-handed, backs up nicely, and will move over to the mounting block to make getting on easy. Moonlight will walk or gait along on a loose rein and is very comfortable to ride. He stands well for trimming and shoeing and is currently shod. He has been exposed to other horses running in the field, as shown in the video, and he stays calm without trying to bolt or get excited. Moonlight has also been around cattle and has been trail ridden by women for about 85% of his life. He is big, chunky, smooth, and dependable, making him a great horse to enjoy long days out on the trail.
