"Rummy" is a very special horse bred for Dressage to a Clydesdale dam and out of wonderful Hanoverian lines for the sire. She has the biggest heart and personality of any horse and is the barn favorite wherever she goes. She LOVES any and all attention and is a dream to ride. She is quite light for her size, easy to come round, light in the bridle and moves on the leg. She has 3 big uphill gates and has done some low field jumps...just a blast to ride and wonderful on trails. She is eager to please and does great on field board, both alone or with friends, as well as spending some time in a stall. She does show some signs of equine shivers, but only on occasion, and it doesn't affect her riding whatsoever. She responds well to body work and chiropractic which does help her stay happy and healthy. She is great for the farrier and very easy to work with on the ground. She left FL to have more turnout options in NC and is working on strengthening her hind end and taking advantage of the hills plus the great benefits of more space for turnout. We will be picky about where she goes and not looking for any resale type home. Rummy really deserves the best and we will sift through interested parties to make sure she gets just that!
