Respectable ground manners, easy to lunge, stands to be mounted, ties, bathes, and hauls well. Barefoot with solid feet and stands for farrier (shoes for summer trails). Gets along with geldings and mares in a pasture setting. No health issues or soundness issues. Dental & Vaccinations UTD Charley is just about the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet. He is a very sensitive, earnest, kind-hearted, good-citizen type gelding who is the first to meet you at the gate. Rockstar on the trail. He’s willing to go through, over, and around pretty much anything I’ve pointed him at (bicycles, high bridges, through rivers, into lakes, rocks, meadows, hills, rocky trails, deer, etc). Curious about odd objects (tarps, bags, noodles, cones, etc) and a-okay with walking on, sniffing, or having these items on his back. Rides out solo/alone without other horses and away from the barn with no problem, does not get herd bound or attached to pasture mates. Ridden him out alone with kids riding along on bikes and he’s totally content. Her 9 year old daughter rides him bareback at the canter on the long line and he’s always safe and steady with her. Huge potential for backcountry packing, continued trail pleasure riding, obstacle courses, beach riding, and beyond. We completed a trail class at Rendezvous Ranch and he walked the skinny high bridges, attempted the teeter totters, and stepped up on the tires with ease. Charley would make a reliable arena or trail horse for his new person. Low Fives (xx,xxx) Showings available in person or virtually.
