Much About One “Freya” is a 16.1hh, 7-year-old mare with a solid restart and a great brain to match. She retired from racing in 2023, had some time off, and has been professionally brought back along the right way.
Handled her first horse show like a champ, great in the warm up, placed in all three of her classes.
She’s currently schooling 18” courses and has started offering flying changes. Freya is a more forward type ride, but she’s not overwhelming and stays rideable, just enjoys having a job. She would suit an AA or a confident junior looking for something fun to continue bringing along, and she’s currently being ridden by a more timid adult.
She’s been exposed to plenty outside the ring, confident on trails and will cross bridges and teeter totters without fuss. She goes out regularly and handles offsite trips well. On the ground, she’s easy to be around with fantastic manners. She loads, leads, ties, and trailers without issue and is currently in front shoes with no other maintenance.
Freya has a kind personality and is always the first to meet you at the gate. She’s a straightforward mare with a good foundation that’s ready for someone to take her the next step.
