Shooter is an 11 year old 15.3 hand Appendix quarter horse. He’s seriously the sweetest horse in the barn, I bring everyone that comes to see the horses to love on him, he LOVES attention. He’s taken everything I’ve thrown at him insanely well, he truly tries his heart out for me, from trails to random people riding him. Shooter is not a spooky horse, has no buck, bite, or rear, and has a great mind. He also learns things VERY quickly and is super willing (taught him to side pass to the mounting block in 15 minutes). I’ve taken him on plenty of trails and he’s never really spooked, and when he does, he just looks at it. He goes over bridges (even when other horses won’t), through water, and straight down the trails no problem!! I threw him over some small jumps for the first time and he has a natural talent for it! I think he’d make someone a great cross country jumping horse that’s just not my thing. - He will NOT be sold as a barrel/gaming horse as he is not built for it and he just can’t turn well (that’s the only reason I’m selling him.) - I put a total beginner on him and he did phenomenal! However, I don’t think he’d be great for a beginner as he’s very forward moving and does not like mixed signals. I think he’d be okay for a confident beginner that works with a trainer. - He has very few vices that I can discuss with people who are interested!
