Weller is an enjoyable, easy going gelding who has been nothing but a pleasure. He has good ground manners and is respectful but does enjoy to be loved on.
Under saddle he is a cute mover with a nice bridle handle. He knows his leads, transitions between all gaits, has a whoa, turns around and has lead changes. He tracks the sled like a pro and would be great for someone wanting to get started learning rope. He has been roped on (head side) out of the box, branded, & gathered. He’s super fun and quick to ranch sort on. He’s been ridden by handy/confident kids, adult beginners to advanced riders. I never worry about throwing a saddle on him and riding off even if he’s had a couple days off. He is fantastic to ride outside on ranch/forrest trails in groups or alone but he does not have much urban trail experience so trails with heavy bike/car traffic would not be ideal for him unless you want to put the time in to build that experience and confidence in him. He has done some fun, local play days, and trail obstacle courses.

No bad stall habits. Easy to haul, bathe, tie, etc.

Up to date on vaccines, teeth and feet (basic shoes all around). He is on alfalfa and orchard. No special maintenance needed.

I think he would be best suited for a young, confident teen looking to level up and have a horse they can go try everything on safely or someone wanting to get started in the roping. He would also make a phenomenal all around ranch horse. He would love to be someone’s number one.
