Studly - 2016 Grade Quarter Horse Gelding

A short coupled 15hh, handy, broke gelding with a lot of real world experience.
Studly has been used in a little bit of everything! Ranch rodeos, doctoring, and I’ve roped both ends on him. He tracks cattle well, will work a rope, fun to sort on and is especially comfortable working in the pasture. I also picked up broncs on him in college, so he’s seen plenty.🤣
He’s been a solid beginner to advanced lesson horse and has taken youth riders to local 4-H, SHOTX and American Quarter Horse Association (all breed classes) shows where they’ve done well and had fun! He’s a more whoa than go type that takes care of his rider and is very forgiving.
Studly is a push style ride and stays gentle. He can be high headed and a hair snorty at times with adults on him (only if you have bad vibes) but is not reactive and has no buck.
He would make a great horse for someone wanting to show in stock/ranch horse classes, breakaway, or have a safe, dependable horse to enjoy. He especially does well with kids and has always been a favorite with the lesson girls.
Studbud is up to date on teeth, chiropractic work, vaccinations and coggins. He does great barefoot or shod and is very easy to shoe. No maintenance, easy keeper.
Only selling because I’m no longer teaching beginner lessons and he isn’t getting used enough. He is one of my unicorns so I’m looking for a great fit for him.
