If you are looking for something young to bring along with a phenomenal mind, Cheech is your guy! He already stands 15.2 hands as a 3 year old and is all there! He does everything a good youngster should and would be safe and suitable for even a youth to finish out. Cheech has been ridden all over the place already. He has a great foundation that will serve as the building blocks to everything he experiences and is faced with for the rest of his life. He stands tied quietly, leads, loads, will pony or can be ponied off of, goes on the walker, etc. Under saddle he is confident and truly just wants to please. He has been ridden in town and is traffic safe, he has been on the trail and navigates challenging terrain with ease, he will go through water, over and through obstacles, carries objects, and has been introduced to a number of scenarios to build his understanding of the world and things he will face. Cheech is good in the herd or stalled. He is easy to catch and has a fun loving old soul personality. As of right now, he is more whoa than go which makes it incredibly easy to teach him new things. He doesn’t get flustered and has never told me no. These are my favorite kind of horses because they come along smooth and steady until they are ready to add speed. He lacks no speed or athletic ability and is bred to shut the clock off. If I was looking for a rodeo horse, he would never leave. He is not going to be flustered by the hustle and bustle and seasoning him will be a breeze! Get on, ride, and HAVE FUN! The hard work is done.
