Lester is a friendly, hard working horse. He is about 14.5 hands tall. He is not registered. He is the first to meet you at the gate and the last one to leave you. He stands tied, to be groomed, bathed, saddled, bridled, trimmed. He can go all day and do it again the next day. This horse can neck rein, lunge, ride in an arena, pasture, cattle yard, or down the road. He was harnessed as a 2 year old on a team, but has only been ridden mostly on the trails or in feedlots the past 6 years. A 15 year old rode him all last summer and he did fun nights, trail rides, wagon trains. Not the fanciest horse and does not come with all the bells and whistles, but he is an honest horse. He has a tougher mouth, so a stronger rider is recommended. We have had little kids sit on him and led him around with them on. He has been ridden double with kids on him. He is safe on the ground, no spook. Little kids love to feed him treats and hay. Lester's big personality makes him a family favorite, but he should be ridden consistently. If he sits for a few months he needs to be lunged before riding. Lester is a great, beautiful horse. Personality and looks. This is his first sale.
