Pickles is a wonderful, hard to find pony who will teach your kids how to ride and handle horses. She is a very patient and kind pony who will stand for hours to be groomed and ridden and loved on. She has immaculate manners and is easily handled and ridden by small children. She picks up all 4 feet with ease for a small child, she rides bareback, English, and Western, and she drives in a cart the very best. Under saddle, she has a lovely walk trot canter, picks up the correct leads easily and naturally, and her trot is comfortable and NOT bouncy compared to the average small pony. She does all of this in a simple snaffle bit and no martingale. She stands quietly for as long as asked, making it easy for kids to build confidence. She is excellent at teaching kids how to trot and post, and she is also well-mannered for games and bareback fun. Outside of the arena, she is traffic safe and can be driven on the roads and through the trails and she trail rides as well. She would be a very excellent foxhunting or pony club pony, has the looks and talent to fit into a hunter/equitation program, has the right temperament to be a therapy pony and would love to continue to be a family pony. Pickes has a correct and stout build, making her short stature stretch even more (the rider in the photos is 6 years old) to cover a variety of rider sizes. She is currently barefoot and does not need shoes. She has never foundered, can get turned out on grass, has no blemishes or soundness issues, is not on any maintenance, and has NO vices. She has displayed no mareish tendencies whatsoever and is a professional. She is easy to catch in pasture, very friendly, good in her stall or in turn out, gets along with others, and I really cannot say a bad thing about this pony. She is the real deal! Kids please have a parent or guardian contact, thank you! This is a very hard to find pony and will be a great and long-serving addition to any program or family.
