Velvet is a Challenge Horse entered in the 2026 Heart of the Horse Trainers Challenge, and will have 4 months of intensive foundation training when she competes in the competition finals on May 14th-16th at the Kirk Fordice Equine Center in Jackson, MS. She is sweet and gentle...way more whoa than go. She is calm and steady, with gaits so comfortable you almost think you are riding a couch down the trail. She will be available for adoption to the winning pre-approved bidder immediately following the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, May 16th in a Safe Horse Auction.
