“Luna” is a fancy 4 yr old mare with size and shape. Luna can’t to me the summer of her 3 yr old year. I re started her and within a few weeks was using her. CONS first: - Luna is 100% sound, but was in an accident and is reactive to things coming up on her from behind. When this happens she “grabs her tail”. Tucks her tail and turns to face. She does not blow up, or run away but will take a few steps to get faced. - was not great for hind shoes, slow and patient and got them on with no issues and has been better since. PROS: - Luna has some good miles inside and outside - Good confirmation, size, feet, legs etc - Light in the face, neck reins, leg pressure, buttons, moves extremely well and Is very smooth. - experience for her age and time with me - outside use gathering - lightly started on cows - picked up loose runaway racehorses at the crooked River roundup - started on the dummy last fall - headed to brand this spring Luna is not without quirks, but has an extremely good handle and has been one of my favorites to ride last fall and this spring. She picked up right where she left off after months of being turned out. More woah than how but again is reactive. Questions call or text. Registered quarter horse QH appendix. Papers, photos and videos available, or just come see her. Located in terrebonne Oregon.
