Ruger is truly one of the sweetest, most incredible donkeys you will ever meet. He rides like a dream with both mares and geldings and has a calm, steady temperament. He is not spooky and does not buck, rear, or bolt. Ruger is a confident and reliable trail partner who will go anywhere you ask.
He is well-trained and versatile — he knows tricks, lays down on command, and trailers easily. Ruger is comfortable around dogs, cars, farm equipment, and is wonderful with the whole family. He especially loves my son 💙 smooth ride and gaited. Pulls the cart like a dream and has been in parades.
Ruger is pastured with other studs during the winter and has an excellent disposition in a herd setting. He is available for live cover or collection for AI, and his fertility is outstanding — truly some of the best numbers you will find.
His foals are exceptional, consistently showing beautiful conformation and straight, correct legs. We absolutely adore him and this is a very difficult decision for us.
