Dolly is a gorgeous quiet horse that wins everyone’s heart when they meet her. She’s a joy to be around and always had the chill factor: my kids have always been able to handle her from the ground, even the 2 year old! ( see in video)
Dolly is extremely smooth both at the trot and at the lope. She has slow cadenced gaits and a natural beautiful head set.
Dolly rides out quite weather you ride her weekly or after time off. She’s so fun and versatile; you can always trust her. She can ride in a huge pasture bridle-less while carrying the flag; she is not spooky and will do any obstacle thrown at her. She has been hauled to the local show few times and did wonderful. She has also been ridden at sorting practices and she is cowy and fun to ride! Started on the flag too! She has been ridden in many chaotic arenas ( 20 + horses) and never gets excited no matter what the other horses do. I even let the crazy youngsters loose while I ride her and they race up to her and buck off, creating ZERO response from her ( video).
Dolly lays down on command and sits on the bean bag, she is also started in liberty and would shine with a bit more time on it, she so badly wants to please.
She’s extremely kind to my kids and they love to ride her and handle her. Dolly lives at a busy ranch and is used to all sorts of heavy machinery and their noises.
I’ve owned this wonderful mare for almost 3 years and my whole family is going to shed some tears when she leaves. Dolly lives in a large pasture and she will meet you at the gate every time! She gets along with all horses, donkeys and minis. At some point she had a mini me best friend that was her shadow, right now her small buddy is a donkey!
