Cruz is a 10-year-old gelding bred and born at Hampton Green Farms, the premier breeder of P.R.E. horses dedicated to developing the highest quality modern sport horse. Cruz is an excellent example of the quality gaits, genetics, and temperament of the HGF program. Cruz has had one adult amateur owner who purchased him as a 3-year-old. Rather than strictly focusing on the show ring, Cruz has been raised as an all-around family member at his owner's home. He is sweet and gentle, and has taken countless trips to clinics, lessons, shows, and trail rides. He is a horse that you can pop in the trailer and jump on and ride, as he does this weekly throughout the season, without the company of other horses.
Cruz has been showing in the USDF circuit since he was 4 years old, with several scores in the 70's. He has competed in two USDF Regional Championships and one National finals, showing both traditional classes and musical freestyle with his amateur rider. Camaron HGF USDF #1141973. Cruz is ready to go in 2nd level this year and will continue to be shown and trained until he is sold. He excels in lateral work and simple changes. He does not have flying changes. No health or soundness issues, no behavioral issues, barefoot with great feet, big boned. He is a blast to ride with tons of elasticity and suspension and 3 correct gaits. He has been strictly trained and ridden by his amateur owner and has huge potential with some professional training or being part of a program.
