Just want to make it clear, Kenai is not currently registered in my name, but have a digital copy of registration and lineage (from previous owner and if interested to see his papers), so I am selling as grade. I have owned Kenai since he was 3 years old. We rode when we first got him, had some life altering things happen and he was left sitting for about 4ish years. He just got out of a 6 month winter/spring training period with a local trainer and is doing well. I am riding him 5 days a week to keep up on his training until he is sold. I would recommend him for an intermediate to advanced rider. He needs someone with the confidence to lead the way when he becomes unsure. He's never had or needed shoes, great for the farrier, stands tied for hours. No sudden buck, rear, or bolt. I have taken him on trail rides and he does just fine. He's been started on ranch work, (lassos, dragging things, ponying, gunshots ect) and it's been a slow work in progress as he is unsure and needs the extra hand. He's great with the trailer and self loads. Never been a problem with other horses. He needs to go to a home where he will be working constantly, sitting for months on end won't do him any good. He is UTD on teeth, vaccines, coggins, and worming as of 4/2/2026. If you're close by, come give him a ride, we can arrange a day. I can get videos if asked. Serious inquiries only, I'm trying to get him to a good home as I won’t have the time for him come fall and will be gone.
