He's as sweet as can be and all wrapped up as pretty as it gets.
His flashy red roan color will get you noticed everywhere you go, but it's his steadfast, patient soul that will be sure to win you over. Broke, safe, and kind, he’s the kind of horse everyone wants in their barn.
Arlo has been everywhere you can think of - Arizona, Utah, Montana, Alberta - down forested trails, across deserts, through creeks, in snow, thick bush, near roads, and in all kinds of rugged terrain. Ice, logs, and rocks - he is surefooted and careful always. He is one of the best trail horses we have ever owned. Arlo is also used to busy highways and traffic.
He loves to explore new places, is never in a hurry, and oozes quiet confidence no matter the situation.
And the arena? Western, English, bareback, or bridleless - he looks good doing it all!! Talk about versatile. Arlo rides around with an easy handle, adjusting readily to his rider. He has three smooth gaits, an excellent stop, and a pretty way of going. Soft in the bridle and easy to ride, he aims to please. Pop over jumps or meander around the arena - he is up for anything. Arlo has also been shown locally and hauled to clinics - he is a blast to take out!
Arlo is used to all kinds of chaos around the farm - ATVs, gunfire, tarps, balls, dogs, cattle, and more. He has met both deer and elk on the trail, and (like everything else) handles it with confidence. And, of course - it doesn't matter how much time off he has had, whether days or months, just saddle up and go - Arlo is the same every time. Solo ride or group outing, he is just happy to be there.
Arlo is incredibly easy to get along with, and has excellent barn manners. His sweet nature means he makes friends everywhere he goes - you can't help but fall in love with him! He's the kind that everyone will enjoy, whether they like weekend trail rides or want to go show. No matter the job, Arlo looks after his rider, endlessly honest and kind.

He will sell this June at the Cowgirl Cadillacs sale in Sheridan, WY - with online, phone and in-person bidding all available to ensure you get to bring home the horse of your dreams, no matter where you are. Test rides can be arranged at the sale grounds in Wyoming or prior to that at our home place in Alberta.
Arlo sells 100% sound with no buyers premiums or hidden fees. Delivery can be arranged anywhere. He will come with a guarantee and basic PPE.
