"Folsom Prison Blues is a 2022 model Missouri Foxtrotter gelding that has every attribute a person who is looking for a big horse would want. Standing at almost 16.1h, Folsom is the guy that so many people are looking for and can never find. His smooth gait, great disposition and relaxed canter makes him a prized possession in the gaited or ranching community. Folsom was bred, born, raised and trained right here at 4P’s Ranch in Wichita Falls,Texas.
Folsoms registration papers state he is a blue roan but he is actually going to gray out. He had a black head and four black feet all the way up to his 3year old year. Then he started showing some signs of gray in his muzzle and his front left foot. Both his Sire and Dam have both produced roans so it was a very easy mistake to make without doing a color test at birth. We can send the papers in to the MFTHBA once horse is sold and can get a color change, that is not an issue.
We have used Folsom for regular gathering and checking stock (horses and cows) to sorting at the local cattle sale, to trail riding, to just having fun around the house. This guy is atv/utv safe, traffic safe, gun broke, dog broke, and is ready for the roughest trails to find. He is safe for anyone who knows how to ride. Folsom has the disposition to be a baby sitter for absolutely anybody once he fully matures.

Folsom has good black feet all the way around and is guaranteed sound. He is sired by our reserve world grand champion model stallion Southern Blue Buck out of a daughter of the multi world grand champion Model and versatility stallion Boss’ Midnight Cash.
