🌟🎩Who’s looking for a gorgeous, solid, smooth, seasoned horse that you can start riding tomorrow?🎩🌟 2013 Registered Black Morgan gaited gelding, “Legend”. 16.1-16.2 hands, solid bone, strong barefoot feet. No history of injuries, illness, or lameness. Great mind and body on this horse, I wish they were all this solid! Morgans are known for their strong yet refined bodies, athletic versatility, and intelligent personable dispositions. Legend is very friendly, sweet, and laid-back. Great sense of humor and doesn’t take life too seriously. He has an amazing soft willing feel under saddle while still being very forgiving. Athletic and sure-footed, with medium to low energy level, making him a very easy horse to get along with. He has been all around Folsom Lake Trails from Boarding on the Lake. Was leased for a few years by a youth rider. They did endurance training rides around 12 miles. He has the capacity to do more distance if you want to condition him for it. When he was around 6-8 yrs old he jumped up to 3’6” stadium and cross country courses and made it look easy. Did some jumper classes at shows. His canter is stunning - the best one I’ve ever seen on a gaited horse. He has jumped small jumps for fun in recent years. He will walk, gait, trot, canter, gallop. He is very talented at his natural gaited gears (running walk and pace) and prefers to use them, so we would like to find him a home that will appreciate his talent. He is SO smooth, gentle, and naturally balanced. Making him a very easy ride. Legend has all the dressage basics. Transitions, lateral work (haunches, shoulders, leg yields), free walk, and adjustable gaits (working, collected, extended). He has a nice walk-to-canter transition and the breaks also work very well! You can ride him on a light contact or on a loose rein. Snaffle, bitless, or western bit. I have him in a Myler-type D-ring snaffle right now. Legend is beginner friendly in the arena, intermediate on the trail. If going to a beginner home we will need to know that you are working with or have access to a trainer or experienced rider, to ensure he goes into a good situation where he will be safe and well-cared for. He has just finished a tune-up with western dressage trainer and will continue training until placed. He’s ready for you to take home and let the fun begin! 📍Sacramento CA 🎥 https://youtu.be/NT5Aq9T1lw4?si=raMiEt0AXf_hTasJ 🐴I’m available to show him to you Tuesday thru Sunday every week.
