Frida is a 6yo Purebred Andalusian mare standing 15.1hh tall. She is a sweet mare that enjoys a job. Registered with IALHA. Frida is Great Granddaughter of the famous Indiano XVIII nicknamed “The Lion of Spain” We bought her June of last year. She had a foal with her previous owner. We bought her with the purpose of green breaking to be a great trail horse to then sell so we could continue expanding our breeding program. She is truly a great mare. She is a forward mover that handles whatever you throw at her well. We have played around with roping with her, pulling logs, total trail master going through creeks, going over logs. She was green broke last year shortly after arriving with us and has been ridden since. Took a few months break through the winter and has been ridden continuously for a few months now. She recently participated in her first parade for 5 de Mayo in downtown Mount Vernon WA and handled the noisy, busy environment very well. She trailers great, stands for the farrier great, no vices, no pulling back, not herd bound, ties still without pawing. Can be alone without worrying. She is ready for the discipline of your choosing. We recommend at least an intermediate rider due to her being forward. She is completely safe, just likes to get going where a beginner may not be able to bring her back where they want because of lack of skill.
