Up to date on dental, vaccines and deworming
Diet: Teff in hay nets 24/7, 1.5 lbs TC Balancer Gold and added vitamin e.
I picked up Ember last summer. She was extremely underweight.
She has turned out to be incredibly sweet and I know she has a ton of potential. I do not know anything about her ridden history. She has spent her time with me gaining weight, and learning to trust people again. She is now starting ground work. I could see her excelling in a number of disciplines.
Pros:
🤎 beautiful movement
🤎 generally sweet natured
🤎 easy to catch
🤎 stands for the farrier
🤎 does well in a herd, middle to lower pecking order
🤎 crosses water
🤎 would do great in a stall with a run or daily turnout.
Cons:
❤️ ear/poll shy with new people
❤️ needs a firm but kind hand to get her continuing forward in her training
❤️ can be afraid of fly spray/water but gets better if you are calm about it
❤️ needs work on tying, has pulled back in other homes, does well with a hay bag.
❤️ scars on back legs from previous trailer accident. She is slow to load, she does best with patience. Has loaded every time for me.
❤️ can rear on the ground if over faced, but not her first go to. In general she’s willing to try if someone is patient.
❤️ not a first time owner or beginners horse. She needs to be trained by her owner or sent to the trainers.
🚫Absolutely no trials or test rides.
