This mare was foal, raised and trained on our farm. Melody has been my wife's trail buddy since she was started under saddle as a three year old. (other than a couple of years when another party had her, then retired from horses and we then bought her back). She has travel to many states on camping adventures and is always a pleasure to travel with. She has always been sound and should have quite a few trail years left in her. She has never been bred, and is not a marish horse. Unfortunately health issues are requiring us to quit riding. This is just too good of a trail horse to let waste away in a pasture.
