This is not a post I thought I'd have to make and not something I'm taking lightly, I will be extremely picky who he goes to as I've loved this horse for 6 years 💔
Only rehoming due to both kids now wanting to ride and I only have 1 kid horse and kid horses are not cheap and sadly he is not a kids horse.
I bought him to be my reined cowhorse but he does not enjoy cattle and ill go more into that with serious buyers,
Born and raised on a working ranch but not selling as a ranch horse as I want to see him do something he truly loves,
He has been shown in ranch versatility shows and brought home blue ribbons! He seems to really love showing, judge said he would go far in the show world, he has a gorgeous extended trot, I think he would do awesome as a English horse too.
Played around on the barrels and he picked that up fast and this boy loves to go so could be a cool barrel/all around horse,
Fancy broke, neck reins/moves off your body knows all his cues. Working on flying lead changes but I'm not very consistent but he is a super fast learner, started in the spade, rides in a bosal or really any kind of bit I put him in.
He is a very honest horse and not mean at all,
Would do best with a advanced or experienced rider as he does move off your body but pretty forgiving when you ask for the wrong thing 😂🤣
He is a forward/big mover but not a hot horse if that makes sense lol he will go all day and enjoys being worked but good to sit months then hop on and go.
He has been hauled to different arenas and we have done tons of clinics and he handles everything well! Been to obstacle courses, crosses bridges and everything he really looks to his rider so if you have the I'm confident and we are doing this attitude he won't hesitate to go through anything. Loves water and swimming, good for flagging Colts, ponys other horses and can be ponied. Use to airplanes, jets (live by airport and airforce base) atvs, side by sides, tractors, cars, semi trucks, dogs, goats, kids. Ponies, Mules,
Beer broke, can take your coat on and off while riding and he wont kill you lol open drinks/snacks while riding ( priorities)
Kinda a hard to saddle fit lol Richard stevens fits amazing but hard to find. Corriente fits ok but not perfect he doesn't buck you off but you can tell it bugs him.
Loads and hauls nice,
Easy keeper,
Utd on everything.
Easy on fences,
Stands awesome for the farrier.
Bath and awesome ground manners.

Does have a small scar on his back leg, vet said we can clean it up nice but just cosmetic and its small so I left it.
