Senior owners are looking for a well-suited situation for 'Whiskey's Silver Dream'. Bunny (barn name) is Registered with the Gypsy Horse Association. I've had her for going on 17 months (she just turned 3 July 28th). She's athletic with fluid movement and correct conformation (video clips are available). Up to date on hoof trim, de-worming, Prestige 5-Way, and West Nile vaccines (well-behaved for all). She's never been sick or injured and is PSSM1 negative by her parentage. Always well provided for and never been abused or neglected. She ties, likes having her hair brushed, has been trailered, free lunges and joins up. I can put the lunge whip all over and around her body (her belly, legs, neck, ears, etc.). Unfortunately, as much as I like Bunny, I believe she'd be better off with a younger (I'm 71) more experienced horseman that can work with her on a regular basis (I'm having a hard time keeping up with her, literally). She could use more turn out (she's an energetic horse). She'd be good for an experienced horseman that likes doing baby boot camp type of training since she hasn't had much exposure to new places or things and needs more in hand work before starting her under saddle. Ready for serious training with someone that has the time (and energy) to put into her. Could be a very lucrative project with the right person. Would probably benefit being with other horses in a herd environment, so she could play and learn from them (she does get to visit from across the fence with other horses at our house). She has a stall with an attached paddock where she can come in and go out as she likes (she can be stalled too, if need be). For diet, we feed Bunny about 20 pounds of 2nd cut EW Timothy hay, about a cup of Safe Choice, mineral salt block. She has access to clean water at all times. Multiple visits will be welcome to get familiar with Bunny to make sure of a good match, along with your own PPE, trainer's evaluation, etc. A well-suited home and partner will be important in Bunny's placement.
