Well bred for running. Very recently purchased. She's a sweet mare that seemingly wants to please, but she's a bit anxious. She knows the barrel pattern well and was told she spent time with a quality barrel trainer in her former life. She can get a bit hot in the arena, and anxious on the pattern, and she’s sensitive, so she'll do best with a confident softer feel rider who knows how to handle some energy. Someone that values building trust and developing a relationship with the animal. Right now she is in a hurry to go fast especially around the barrel if you get a hold of her at all, but she is making progress settling down. I think if someone wanted to put more time into her on the barrels she can continue that path and do well or she can go another direction. Was told she also knows the pole pattern. She does collect and move nicely, working off your legs. Has nice lead changes. She doesn't seem to be a spooky or reactive mare at all, and has definitely been around kids, dogs, farm animals, tractors, quads, etc. Pretty quiet really. The gal I bought her from says she's good on trails and felt she could go many directions. She's been camping and swimming. Probably could make some nice babies. I don't have her papers in hand, but I do have a signed transfer form. We did have to put front shoes on her with pads to get her sound. Asking what I paid.
