Toast is a horse lovers DREAM!!! Whether you're looking for your first time horse, one to take to the show pen, or home to the ranch, Toast is the one. He is the definition of GENTLE and VERSATIL. He also has the color and looks that goes along with it, with a chocolate palomino coat, and a white mane and tail that wraps up a heavy made conformation with a pretty head, strong top line, big round hip, and good feet. You can look into his soft dark eyes and see that he has a kind loving soul that completes the whole package. When you see him ride you will notice he has a nice little jog, a good turn around, a soft easy lope staying between your reins and doing no more than you ask.
Toast started his life out in the reining and knows all the maneuvers. He was shown as a 3-year-old in reining and ranch riding classes delivering nice spins, great sliding stops, and effortless flying lead changes. He is a NRHA money earner. Since then, he has made his life as a trail and lessons horse for Alies teaching people of all ages how to ride. Our youngest son Trell rides him all over the ranch going down the trails through the canyons, thick brush, and through the water. Between all that Chase uses him in the team roping as a head horse and to go do any ranch job that needs done.
When it comes to his confidents Toast rides great in a group of other riders or out on his own while cars, ATVs, and farming equipment pass by. Easy to handle when it comes to his needs. Loves his baths, being groomed, and stands while being tacked up and fly sprayed. Loads and hauls great, easy to shoe, and clip. We can talk about Toast all day and never run out of good things to say about him. He is truly an amazing horse to have in the barn!
