Rio is an 5yr old reining bred gelding. He has a year and a half of professional reining training. It wasn't a good match so I've been pivoting him to ranch riding. He's safe and sound, but still has a bit to learn as he was in a strict reining program. Since coming home from training, a year and a half go, he's been ridden off and on due to my time constraints. He's been on trial rides and rode in the arena. No matter the amount of time he has off he's always ready to work. He would be best with an intermediate or higher rider as he is still young.

excellent ground manners, loads, baths, stand for farrier, generally easy going.

Looking for someone to do a care lease-ideally keeping him at his current barn. I would be open to him going to an approved barn or trainer.
