12-year-old bay roan gelding. Gizmo is a good-looking bay roan gelding that’s been trail ridden just about everywhere. My kids have put a lot of miles on him through the Ozark Hills, across creeks, and over rough country. He’s the kind that will go wherever you point him without making a fuss. He crosses water with no problem and handles rough terrain like it’s nothing. He has a really smooth gait that’s easy to ride and can cover a lot of ground without wearing you out. He’s happy to ride all day and doesn’t need constant breaks. Whether you’re out for a short evening ride or spending the whole day on the trails, he’s the same dependable horse every time. Gizmo isn’t spooky or nervous. He’s been exposed to all kinds of trail situations and takes everything in stride. He loads and unloads easily, stands tied quietly, is good for the farrier, and is easy to be around. If you’re looking for a pretty, dependable gaited gelding that’s already been there and done that, Gizmo is the kind that’s getting harder to find. He’s ready to enjoy the trails with his next family.
